The
letter for today is: L, where I feature left-over
and lemon.
When
we eat a meal, does the left-over
food become second-rate? No. The quality remains the same. Yet the left-over's gain a stigma for some. Not
me though—I love reheated soup. The flavor improves over time.
Lemon
sometimes leaves a sour memory, yet lemon
compliments fish so well and removes the oily flavor from the fried food.
There's
a saying here in England: Left standing
like a lemon, which means an idiot standing alone.
So
left-over means outcast and so does lemon.
